Have you ever encountered a situation that seemed to defy solutions? Have you tried all you know, and don’t seem to make any headway? Are you about to give up, give in, and surrender?
We all know that life is full of challenges, or it would not be life. We also know that God has given us everything we need in order to overcome that situation, failing, or fear.
So when all else has failed, and life seems unbearable, I want you to know that there is someone who will never fail you; His name is Jesus, and the only way to communicate with Him is through PRAYER. He asks you to commit everything to Him (Proverbs 3:5-6), to lay all your burdens at His feet (Matthew 11:28-30), and to believe that He will not leave you without help (Isaiah 41:10).
Prayer means asking God for something and listening to hear His response. There is a time for you to speak, an intervening time of staying quiet before God, and a time to hear Him. Mix this up with complete belief that He who created the Universe by the Word of His mouth can also improve your situation by that same power in His word.
When the Lord says: “Let there be”, there usually is! Only sometimes God does not answer as quickly as we might want Him to, especially if the situation we face is traumatic and painful; I want you to keep praying until your breakthrough happens. Never stop praying (1 Thess. 5:17).
Are you waiting for a spouse? Keep praying!
Are you expecting children? Keep praying!
Or do you believe God for a job, victory in a peculiar situation, direction, protection, promotion? Keep praying!
Whatever the situation is, just do not stop praying and expecting, regardless of what you see in the physical. It may surprise you to know that God is already moving things around in the spiritual realm for you. Keep standing, stay the course, do not waver, and eventually, God will give you more than you requested (Ephesians 3:20).
Wait on God today, pray in faith, stay expectant because God never fails! And WHEN your breakthrough arrives, please begin another form of prayer – thanksgiving and testimonies.
The Lord God wants to hear continually from His children, in good times and in bad times. So, go ahead, speak to your Heavenly Father – pray!
And may the desires of your heart be yours today, and every day, Amen!
