It is so hard to let go of all striving or worrying, and to just trust God completely for our needs!
If we are not being spiritually arrogant, we will accept that we sometimes try to “help God help us” by taking action without His direction. The reason may be that:
- we do not truly believe in God’s ability to change situations,
- we lack the strength to stay on our new path, or
- we lack the patience to allow God bring His good purposes to pass.
But I need us to remember a few truths today:
1. God is all-powerful and all-knowing
2. God loves us more than we can ever imagine, despite our past and current failings.
3. God will give us as many chances as we need to recover and walk in sincerity with Him
4. God wants us to trust Him completely (without doubting).
I believe there is nothing too difficult for God; after all, He made everything by the power of His Word! Will you therefore trust Him to positively change your situation today? Will you give Him your belief system, your heart, your mind, and your life? Will you let yourself go, so He can catch you?
Talk to God about your issues; pray, wait for His response, and then act on it!
The Father of our Lord Jesus, the God of Abraham, Moses, and David shall stand by you. Those who trust in Him shall never be ashamed. I encourage you therefore to knock on that door today; to ask Him in faith!
Trust God fully and without doubt for all things, and watch your life transform and blossom.
Lesson of the Week
1. Those who trust God always prosper; do so today (Isaiah 40:31)
2. Obey His directions, and observe the results (John 15:7 & Deut. 11:13-15)
Trusting God validates Him; tells Him that we live in submission and obedience to Him.
No matter how tough and challenging your life has become, Jesus is able and willing to change things for the better. Blindly trusting Him, and not wondering HOW He is going to solve your problem is the foundation of FAITH IN CHRIST. Believing that through Jesus, the things you hope for will become reality is FAITH IN ACTION, and moves the hand of God.
Secondly, when God answers and gives direction, we must be prepared to move immediately. Most of us still remain in the place of prayer, even though God has responded and commanded us to move unto the place of action. Remember that faith without works is dead; that we must also be doers of the word, and not hearers only.
As you trust God for your breakthrough this week, try to avoid sin, love your fellow man, pray and sings songs of praise to God, and wait on Him. God never fails, and He will not fail you.
Hang on in there; your victory is on the way!
Weekly Nugget: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones” (Proverbs 3:5-8; KJV)
