Life is full of ups and downs, and those who are patient and consistent will eventually overcome.
Are you stuck in no-man’s land? Are you confused about your current situation? Do have face choices that leave you powerless? Have you decided to change, and is change not coming easily enough? Are you in the valley and you are desperately looking forward to a mountain-top experience? Are you weary? Are you discouraged?
The bible commands you not to give up hope of a turnaround; the Unchanging Changer, God, will come to your assistance! (Isaiah 42:16).
Joshua believed God for the conquest of Jericho, Hannah believed for children, David was a worshipper, and King Jehoshaphat believed for military deliverance; all these received more than they expected: the walls of Jericho collapsed, Prophet Samuel was born, David received the Israelite kingdom, and Jehoshaphat obtained a great military victory!
There is nothing too difficult for God to do; ask Him in faith, and wait patiently for His response!
Remain in God’s good books: accept Jesus’ death as atonement for your sins, stay holy, and help the less fortunate. Be God’s instrument of help and encouragement to others; as you offer your services to God and your fellow man, He will exceed your needs and expectations.
God is able to give you more than you can ever think or imagine, if you can only trust Him, wait patiently for Him, and allow Him use you to encourage His people.
He is faithful; so should you be! And all will be well.
Lesson of the Week
1. God has promised not to forsake you (Joshua 1:5 & 9)
2. Wait patiently on God (Psalms 37:3-7).
God’s Words always do what they are spoken to do. He has promised never to let you down; He won’t.
No matter how difficult the situation, God can, and will come through for you. Just keep believing without wavering. Do not look at the physical situation, but look at what God says about that situation, and CLING TO GOD’S PROMISES!
Clinging to His promises means you have to practice patience. God’s times are not our times, and sometimes He does take a little more time to give us MORE THAN we asked of Him.
Wait patiently and expectantly, and your expectation shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18).
Be encouraged this week; the God of Abraham, and the Creator of the Universe, knows every pain you feel, and stands ready to wipe away all hurts.
Trust Him therefore, and let your joy bubble over.
Greetings and Felicitations from the Throne of Grace!
